Music Update: Summer Favorites

I listen to every kinda music. But the genre I love the most is Electronic House, Pop and R'n'B.

Albums:

I love Christina Aguilera's new studio album Bionic. Christina tried out a new style and I think she totally could handle it. It's still her genre pop, but the album has a girly touch and I really like it. Some songs are also pretty serious and it's a cool album. I just love it!
My favorite songs of that album are I Am, Vanity and You Lost Me. Especially, the remix of You Lost Me is great!

Another album I adore is the one of Davud Guetta. All his songs are amazing. I just love his style and especially the sound of electro. It reminds me of hot summer days and cool parties. My favorite songs of his new album One Love are Riverside Motherfucker, Toyfriend and Missing You. I know, electronic music is not the taste of everybody, but I like how it sounds. I find David Guetta is the best DJ ever. I love his songs!

Other albums I really like are the ones of Usher, Lady Gaga, Taio Cruz and Fedde Le Grande. They all have something special, 'cause all the artists are very professional. My favorite songs of those albums are:

Eh, Eh/ Dirty, Rich, Beautiful (by Lady Gaga)
Mars Vs. Venus/ OMG/ DJ Got Us Falling In Love Again (by Usher)
Shotgun/The Beat Is Rocking (by Fedde Le Grande)
Can't Say Go/ Dynamite (by Taio Cruz)

It's defenetly worth it to buy these albums, 'cause these artists are awesome!

Songs:

These are the songs I'm listening the whole time! Doesn't matter if I listen to them since the beginning of summer or since just now. I love them!

Impossible - Shontelle
Bulletproof - La Roux
Secret - The Pieces
Give Me A Sign - Remady
Beautiful Monster - Ne-Yo
You And I - Medina
Kim Leoni - Medicine
Chica Boom - Dan Balan
Cascada - Evacuate The Dancefloor
Armchair Cynics - Bang

This music update was a bit long, 'cause this is the first I've ever uploaded. The other updates will be a bit shorter.

Best wishes

New York, I miss you!

Fianally, I get to New York again (: I'm so happy, 'cause this city is one of the most beautiful ones I've ever seen! (ofc I'll update my trip to NY)

Last year, I've been there the first time and I was fascinated 'bout this wonderful city. There was the Times Square, the Central Park and a lot more.

5th Avenue:

It was perfect to go shopping there. On the 5th Ave. you find stores like Abercrombie & Fitch, H&M or even the Disney Store for the little ones of us. There it looks so clean and wonderful.

Fashion Ave (7th Avenue):

When I walked down the 7th Avenue from Central Park, I suddenly stood in Times Square. I couldn't believe my eyes, 'cause that was that famous place I always wanted to go at. I always saw the Times Square in movies or series and i was speechless. I've never seen so much lights at once. It was breathtaking!

Statue of Liberty:

This year, I won't go to that Island, 'cause if you've seen it once, you've seen enough. It was cool and we had a lotta luck with the weather and it's beautiful to take walks there and hang around and enjoy the view. But this year I defenetly won't have time to visit it. I finally have to go to the Empire State Building, 'cause last year we didn't have enough time to go on it. But the view must be amazing.

Central Park:

This year I defenetly have stay there-in longer, 'cause I didn't see a lot. Well, it's so huge that I'll never be able to see everything. It's so speacial, that a big park is in the middle of a huge city. Impressive!

I wished I could live there, but for now, at least I can visit it!

Best wishes

Nails: Essence Nail Art Twins

With the Essence Nail Art Twins I tried out two things you can do with long nails or even short nails.

The first try was a kind of french manicure. You can use any french manicure set but for this one I tried Essence French Glam. It's easy to put on and it dries quickly. For my friend's nails I didn't need the white nail polish of my french manicure set, 'cause in front of her nails it's already pretty white. Less work ;)

After the first step it should look like that:

For the second step you just have to put you glitter nail polish on, where your white nail polish is and finished.
If you want it to have more colorful or glittery you just have to go through it twice. (:

After the second step it should look like that:

It looks automaticly cleaner and almost as they were fake! The good thing is that you can do it with every color. (:

For my second try I used a blueish base by Maybelline NY and the Glitter Topper. The fit perfectly together. If you're not sure that the two nail polishes fit together, just buy the other twin of the color you have.

First I put the base on and I waited till it was dried. Then I drawed a line from the bottom to the top. The line can be however you want it. You need a lotta patience for that, I can tell! But at least it's worth it.

This nail art is perfect for short nails, like I have and at the end it should look like that:

Good Luck!
