Too Formal o.O!!

Sometimes you buy things for special events, but later on, you can't really use it for the day. So, I give you some tips, how you can mix it up a bit that it looks more casual than anything else!

That's my style! I love to wear leggins or tights with shirts or dresses. But a black dress for the night & tights is too formal for the day. So, I considered how I could change it, that it looks more casual.

I took a jeans jacket. If you have a black leader jacket, just take it! But if your dress is black, I would go with the jeans jacket, cuz it looks too black. If you have a colorful, formal dress: I'd prefer the leader jacket. With the jeans jacket, it's too colorful.

Then I took a colorful scarf. If you have a colorful dress: Don't take any scarf! It's too much!

If I wanted to go out with the dress, I'd rather take colorful pumps, but for this outfit. But it's for the day... So, I took ankle boots.

Dress: Tally Weijl

Tights: Super Market

Scarf: Clockhouse (C&A)

Jeans Jacket: Fishbone (New Yorker)

Ankle Boots: Tally Weijl

Make Up

I actually didn't wanna have a lotta make up on. So, I decided to take it a lil bit more simple. First, of course, I put 24h Liquid Foundation by Maybelline on & also the concealer by the same brand & name. I wore a pink lipstick (Estée Lauder). You can take any pink lip stick you want. Take the one, that fits you best! Over the lipstick I used a similar color for the lipgloss (Essence). With my Estée Lauder Eye Shadows, I made smokey eyes. I also used my Estée Lauder Eyeliner. As the mascara, I wore Great Last by Maybelline, the extra black one!

Finished!

Vacation Diary: Week Two

The second week wasn't as exciting as the first week. Actually, I relaxed more than anything else. I could sleep in & take it easy. Afternoons, I was hanging around with my cousins & later, we could enjoy shopping in the big plaza (=mall in Mexico). I didn't buy as much as I expected, but I got some cool new things.
Two stores I totally loved were TodaModa & Shasa. These stores are affordable & you get trendy things. Unfortunatly, I've just seen these stores in Mexico. But if you ever step by in Mexico: Check out these stores!

More 'bout my holidays you'll find out in the upcoming posts.

Till then, I wish you a wonderful weekend.

Vacation Diary: Week One

I've been travelling the whole week from one place to another with my family & it was amazing (till now). A week ago, I took the plane from Zurich to New York. I've been there 1 day for shopping & also seeing the city. I didn't have a lotta time, so I wasn't able to buy a lot.
The next day, we went to San Fransisco. I've never been there, so there was double-exictement! With a sight seeing tour, we've seen the whole city. I couldn't believe my eyes how amazing this city was. So, it's defenetly worth it, to go on such a sight seeing tour.
In the evening, we were hanging around by the fishermen's wharf.
The next day, still in SF, we've been walking on the Golden Gate Bridge. It's beautiful & very huge. Then we went to see Alcatraz. It was interesting, but there is no need to see it again. Later on, we went to the Union Square in the middle of the city of SF & we went shopping again. 'Bout all the shopping stuff I write when I'm home again & there's also a Haul coming up.
On Wednesday, we took a car & we drove down along the highway 1 to Los Angeles. To see all the nature & those beaches & the pacific ocean was amazing. It took some hours till we were there, but it was defenetly worth it. You totally see another world, when you're not used to it to live that near to the ocean. A city I really liked there along the Highway 1 was St.Louis. It's so cute!!
In L.A. we first went to Disneyland, 'cause I've got a small brother who's 7. I felt again like a little child :P
On Friday, we've seen Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills & ofc Hollywood.

I really loved all those cities, but I have to say that I defs prefer New York. That city is the most spectacular I've ever seen!

Now, I'm still on holidays, but now I'm at my relative's place in Mexico. This Saturday, I'm going home to Switzerland.

Best wishes from this hot, wonderful place

Goodbye Summer!

In some countries you never have to say goodbye to the lovely summertime. But here in Switzerland, I didn't even have a right summer! That's another issue, but now I wanna show you one outfit to enter to fall. Now, it's offically fall, but sometimes I even have luck with the weather.

Shoes: Charles Voegele

Jeans: Tally Weijl

Shirt: Forever 21

Cardigan: somewhere in Seattle

Cap: Forever 21

Scarf: H&M

Braclets: Market in Italy & Shasa

Watch: Guess

By that time, I mostly just add a cardigan, when it's not raining.

For this Outfit I wanted to be more natural, so I chose to just use Foundation, Conceiler, Eyeliner & Mascara.
This Outfit is perfect to go to school, go shopping or just go for a walk. It's casual & comfortable. Plus you don't have cold!

Music Update: Perfect for the weekend

Two new songs I'm totally addicted to are Get Shaky and On My Mind. They're two electronic songs, but I enjoy to listen to them so much.

Get Shaky by The Ian Carey Project is a wonderful song I actually know now a time. I've always heard it on the radio or when I went out or even at TV. I was searching that song for so long and now I'm absolutly addicted to it.

The other song On My Mind is by DJ Antoine. He's a Swiss DJ and in my opinion amazing. It's weekend, so let's get crazy ;)

Step Up 3D

I recently went to watch the amazing movie Step Up 3D. I just loved it!!!

It's kinda similar to the other 2 movies, but that's alright, 'cause my opinion to it is, that this is the most amazing dance movie ever.
First it begins that 2 totally different people get to know each other, then that 'private' scene where they fall in love & everyone is fighting 'bout something that is really important to each of them etc.
I think that the finale dance was the best ever 'cause of the battles & all those things, but actually the dance of the main characters is better in the second movie than in the third. In the second it looks more romantic & all that.
The soundtrack is amazing as always and the fact, that its 3D makes the movie more interesting than it already is.
Well, I think you should see it on your own. I totally recommend it to you. It's defenetly worth it.

Click here to see the trailer and if you've seen it: comment & let me know what you think 'bout it.

Enjoy the movie.

Best wishes

Music Update: Summer Favorites

I listen to every kinda music. But the genre I love the most is Electronic House, Pop and R'n'B.

Albums:

I love Christina Aguilera's new studio album Bionic. Christina tried out a new style and I think she totally could handle it. It's still her genre pop, but the album has a girly touch and I really like it. Some songs are also pretty serious and it's a cool album. I just love it!
My favorite songs of that album are I Am, Vanity and You Lost Me. Especially, the remix of You Lost Me is great!

Another album I adore is the one of Davud Guetta. All his songs are amazing. I just love his style and especially the sound of electro. It reminds me of hot summer days and cool parties. My favorite songs of his new album One Love are Riverside Motherfucker, Toyfriend and Missing You. I know, electronic music is not the taste of everybody, but I like how it sounds. I find David Guetta is the best DJ ever. I love his songs!

Other albums I really like are the ones of Usher, Lady Gaga, Taio Cruz and Fedde Le Grande. They all have something special, 'cause all the artists are very professional. My favorite songs of those albums are:

Eh, Eh/ Dirty, Rich, Beautiful (by Lady Gaga)
Mars Vs. Venus/ OMG/ DJ Got Us Falling In Love Again (by Usher)
Shotgun/The Beat Is Rocking (by Fedde Le Grande)
Can't Say Go/ Dynamite (by Taio Cruz)

It's defenetly worth it to buy these albums, 'cause these artists are awesome!

Songs:

These are the songs I'm listening the whole time! Doesn't matter if I listen to them since the beginning of summer or since just now. I love them!

Impossible - Shontelle
Bulletproof - La Roux
Secret - The Pieces
Give Me A Sign - Remady
Beautiful Monster - Ne-Yo
You And I - Medina
Kim Leoni - Medicine
Chica Boom - Dan Balan
Cascada - Evacuate The Dancefloor
Armchair Cynics - Bang

This music update was a bit long, 'cause this is the first I've ever uploaded. The other updates will be a bit shorter.

Best wishes
